We inspected an RV and found that the LP/CO detector was expired. The life of these detectors is 6 years that starts when electrical power is first applied. These life/safety items are crucial to prevent catastrophic event. If you are uncertain how to check and replace your LP/CO detector, contact a mobile RV technician to come out check and/or replace them. If your RV is more than 5 years old, it is possible that your LP/CO detector may need replacing soon.
